I'm leaving them separate, with the goal of eventually killing off the LJ account. It's a nice opportunity for a new start, and maybe this time I'll be better about metadata and organization (tagging, etc).
Link. Dreamwidth is all about people being able to keep track of their friends on other servers, but it's not yet that nice to keep track of dreamhost lj-side, so it's better to just replicate and remain part of both commuities.
Link. By leaving them separate you gain only obscurity, a fractured journaling presence, and a fractured community of followers. If you want separate journals for separate purposes, do so using different usernames, not the same username on separate sites.
